This event will use the COVINGTON STREET GATE (Back of Estate)
(Near the San Leandro/Oakland border and Oakland Zoo)
Directions shown below
ANY DOG may participate.
It is not necessary to be enrolled in the Dog Care project.
Dog Events include:
- "Field of Bones" (Obstacle course)
- Musical Sits
- Dog Agility
- Obedience
- Person to dog conformation
- Dive for the hot dog
- Object retrieval
- Instruction in showmanship (conformation & obedience)
Bring your lawn chair, your family and the family dog
Refreshments/lunch items for sale by State Exchange
Direction to the historic Dunsmuir House (Back gate - Covington Street)
From North:580 East toward Hayward - Exit Dutton
Left at first light - under freeway - continue straight to Marlow
Turn left at Covington past "Not a Through Street" sign & park in parking lot
From South: 580-West toward San Francisco
Exit at Estudillo Ave., Right onto MacArthur Blvd; Right again at Dutton (2nd light)
Under freeway - continue straight onto Marlow
