CAL Conference 2007
CAL Conference is an interactive leadership conference held every year for the North Central Section. The Conference starts on Friday and ends on that Sunday. Delegates get to know each other on Friday evening and then attend educational sessions on Saturday. Saturday afternoon, weather permitting, delegates will choose one of three hikes to go on. That night is a night of fun, a time that delegates can spend with friends new and old. The conference is wrapped up on Sunday with a participatory assembly and wonderful key-not speaker.
County delegations are asked to do a presentation on a topic decided by the staff. These presentations are given at the opening assembly, and topics range from great teams to community service plans of action. The presentations allow everyone to be involved in the conference and to let everyone else know a little about the people/county presenting.
